Accounting Research Engaging with Business

Question: Talk about the Accounting Research Engaging with Business. Answer: Presentation Volkswagen, the prominent vehicle maker from Germany had confronted a disaster when the multi year old organization had confronted the greatest dangers of its reality during 2014 by the law breaking action by them which had significantly harmed their way of life of certain, merciless and isolated practices. The indications of anomalies are clench hand found in 2014 in the diesel driven vehicles of Volkswagen by a charitable association, International Council on Clean Transportation, however the equivalent were prior since decades, yet the equivalent had not been featured by the representatives to defuse the issues on outflow tests which had flopped hopelessly to meet the US clean-air norms according to lawful boundary. In spite of the fact that the equivalent had taken to the notification of the organization authorities as annihilation gadget however it was not satisfactory who knew about that issue. It was on record that the reminder on a similar issue had been given to Mr. Winterko rn , the then CEO of Volkswagen, about the abnormalities of the outflow of the vehicles in 2014, yet the organization was hesitant to proceed with the establishment of those destruction gadgets up to work a year ago. On twentieth June, 2014 the German examiners had advised that Mr. Winterkorn was under watchfulness through the procedure of examination for the issue of acts of neglect made for controlling the market as he had not found a way to express that the organization was going to confront a request identified with the embarrassment of discharge. A common grievance had been raised by the New York lawyer general who had associated Matthius Muller, the current CEO related this embarrassment and in this manner the means of examination had arrived at the top degree of Volkswagen management(GUILBERT GATES, 2016). Conceivable Accounting issues looked by Volkswagen The writing of Parker, Guthrie Linacre, 2011 on bookkeeping effects of corporate exercises whether positive or negative had discovered that changes of change can have effect from minuscule changes in mentality and practices identified with the particular changes in strategy obsession. These progressions may happen in the fields of corporate social obligation of the association or in the degree of conduct or attitudinal angles in the expert viewpoint to defend the interests of the partners in the point of view of equity or diversity(Parker, 2011). The said occurrence of thrashing gadget of Volkswagen can have effect in the bookkeeping issues of the organization in regard of the harms to be recharged, the assessment of generosity of the organization, costs towards fix and upkeep of the vehicles which are influenced with the component of discharge embarrassment, repurchase and money installment to renew the harm with the measure of US $ 14.7 billion to various gatherings like Environmental Protection Agency, etc(EWING, 2013). Partners The job of partners assume significant job for maintaining a business independent of its size. The goal of any association is to protect the enthusiasm of various partners, in-house and outer. The claim to fame of Volkswagen partners the executives is to deal with huge and enhanced partner association with its items and administrations by meeting the desire for them to esteem the more extensive range of connection between the organization and their partners. The people group of partners of Volkswagen incorporate investigators, speculators, representatives, gifts, clients, neighbors, providers, colleagues, officials, open specialists, the scholarly world and non-legislative organizations(Volkswagen, 2013). To show how the partners are influenced, we need to comprehend the job of various partners and their desire from the organization to close how they are getting influenced by this outrage. Fundamentally partners are of tow types-inward and outside. The inner partners incorporate representatives while the outer partners incorporate others referenced previously. Workers got influenced with this outrage as they win their job from the work of this association. At the point when the picture of the organization gets influenced by some event, the ethical quality of the representatives gets down and they start free the certainty upon the business. The outer partners misunderstand the sign with this sort of exercises and they additionally begin to lose their certainty upon the organization. This effect makes genuine ramifications on the notoriety of the organization despite the fact that their earnest attempts to die down the reality makes useless. The loosing of certainty makes the circumstance which can compel the outer partners to be away from this organization and that has negative effect on the eventual fate of the organization. Intention of Volkswagen The administration, albeit mindful of the occurrence of this outrage long back, had not accepted remedial measures as they were feeling the squeeze to deal the diesel vehicles in USA with the sponsorship of significant showcasing pushes put by the organization to guarantee more income and [profit from the effort(Hotten, 2015). Bookkeeping Theories of Volkswagen Management-clarification to partners In case of Volkswagen Scandal identified with rebelliousness of discharge, bookkeeping had not assumed an immediate job as this is out and out a creation the board choice. However, the bookkeepers cannot preclude their job from claiming advising the partners about the procedures with money related ramifications of those empowering them to choose about their future strategy. The bookkeeping hypotheses named as IFRS. New kids on the block had created International Accounting Standard IAS 37 which is for the most part dynamic in the field making arrangements, unexpected liabilities and unforeseen resources. This bookkeeping hypothesis is useful to depict the Volkswagen Scandal alluding the up and coming misfortunes with the ensuing arrangements to be made for them in the monetary bookkeeping of Volkswagen(IFRS, 2016). Steps to be taken by Volkswagen Management According to IFRS Rookies and the new stage for bookkeeping standard developed by them as IAS 37, the endorsed activities for Volkswagen the board should feature the zones the bookkeeping hypothesis of IAS 37 talked about. They are: Recognizable proof of the monetary occasion (for this situation Scandal) with ensuing activity of informing the equivalent to the partners. Investigation of that monetary occasion with target of understanding the equivalent with the particular of the sort of data required by the partners. Expectation of the impact of that episode with significant data which might be required by the client. Distinguishing proof of the ideas which are the substance in the Conceptual Framework for Financial which has the job to help the introduction of the data. Distinguishing proof of the related gauges of representing the said monetary event with the mission of seeing how the use of standards in that standard depends on the ideas from the system. Conversation of the advancement of rules of the standard on the predetermined fundamentals. Show of the non arrangement of the ideas and standards with the guidelines by the result of the thought of viable and cost/advantage factors. Induction of least divulgence needs which are set up by the procedure against the data of clients which likewise requires set up from the result of the procedure of application(IFRS, 2016). Most appropriate bookkeeping hypothesis thoroughly analyze The bookkeeping speculations are basically encircled with tow techniques deductive and inductive strategy. While deductive strategy begins its excursion from bookkeeping standard and infers the sensible result of the hypothesis, inductive technique begins from invert with perception and estimation to close with summed up result. As I would like to think to finish up the event of Volkswagen Scandal, the bookkeeping hypothesis dependent on inductive strategy ought to be embraced for the straightforward explanation that it gives the information through perception and estimation to examinations the loss of the organization because of the disaster and in this way close for the most part for the partners through data which might be of help for them to choose their future course of action(scribd, 2015). Hypothesis and Practice To test a hypothesis so far its precision is worried, there are three premise Dogmatic, Self Evidence and logical. By breaking down a hypothesis through these, we can without much of a stretch finish up which premise ought to be generally reasonable to legitimize the utilization of the bookkeeping hypothesis. For this situation the logical premise demonstrated the realness of IAS 37 created by IFRS Rookies is most relevant in light of the fact that it is with the system of logical premise and therefore to be considered as most material theory(scribd, 2015). End The occurrence of Volkswagen Scandal drives the organization through various mortification which is happened because of their request. The utilization of bookkeeping hypothesis with training to defend the enthusiasm of partners is through the best possible data framework from the administration through bookkeeping standard and resulting practice which ought to be controlled by morals and therefore the said article would be fruitful with investigations in particular space of bookkeeping. The Effects of Poverty on the Inner City Family Values Essay Example for Free

The Effects of Poverty on the Inner City Family Values Essay The family is the fundamental unit of the general public. It is an establishment that is made out of the dad, mother and their youngsters. It very well may be said that the presence of the family is a basic issue however we ought to understand that the mixture of families is the thing that makes up the present reality. The presence of families is represented by family esteems that are passed from age to age. Family esteems are demonstrated to be viable in keeping families unblemished regardless of how unique the world is. As it were, the failure to keep up and practice family esteems at home makes a family turbulent in this manner influencing the general public all in all. There are different family esteems that are used and drilled by families around the world. Be that as it may, a large portion of the basic qualities incorporate singularity, trustworthiness, industry, information, empathy, love of family and good faith (Learning Family, 1999, p. 1). These qualities are helpful in maintaining family collaboration and control that will result to bliss at home. Also, we know that family esteems influence how we face the real factors of life. Our qualities can show to others about what sort of individuals we are, and can help them in understanding our activities (Learning Family, 1999, p. 1). In this paper, the essential factor that could influence family esteems is the issue of neediness that surfaced on the planet today. This paper will give a straightforward yet careful conversation of the impacts of neediness on genuine and saw families found in the downtown and their qualities. The fundamental signs of neediness are overpopulation, food lack and related issues, horror rate and poor instructive foundation of which family esteems can be applied in taking care of for these issues. Neediness and Its Effects to Actual and Perceived Inner City Family Values Destitution is a difficult that hits the entire world. Numerous nations are experiencing neediness and its constituents consistently trust in changes. Having families compelled to fill the lanes because of powerlessness to bear the cost of a house is a reality. Indeed, even in the United States, there individuals who are found in the avenues as they couldn't stand to claim a house (Wattenberg, et. als. , 2003, p. 517). It is for a reality that the United States has been considered as a nation that has the most noteworthy national pay around the world (Wattenberg, et. als. , 2003, p. 517). However, neediness despite everything exists because of inconsistent dissemination of salary and riches. Because of this circumstance, numerous families are turning out to be broke down as their youngsters caused such huge numbers of issues in the general public. Family esteems are not, at this point often instructed among youngsters since adolescent misconduct is widespread these days. There are two sorts of families that we have to manage in investigating family esteems according to destitution in the downtown and these are the real family and the apparent downtown family. So as to have an essential scenery in understanding the paper, it ought to be placed as a top priority that these two sorts of family will be dissected concerning every indication of neediness along with the family esteems referenced before. Subsequently, the motivation behind this paper is attempting to pressure the distinctions in sees between the real and the apparent poor downtown family. Schools are getting issues of truancy as a sign that guardians can no longer control their kids in their homes. Guardians are increasingly engaged in taking care of money related issues that they will in general produce their children’s enthusiastic and mental necessities. Overpopulation and Its Effects to Actual and Perceived Inner City Families The issue of destitution incorporates populace development. As time keeps on existing, the quantity of individuals living in this world additionally increments. In accordance with that, future just as ways of life turned out to be increasingly confounded. Additionally, the people has formed into an enormous number that is around six billion, and keeps on expanding after some time (Overpopulation Website, 2008, p. 1). Notwithstanding that, the weights of rising populaces on characteristic assets and business eagerness mix, coming about to negative outcomes (Overpopulation Website, 2008, p. 1). The same number of individuals exist, there is lack of room in urban areas wherein most families live to win a living. Lodging issues happen and the legislature is attempting to determine the issue. Because of the rising number of jobless individuals, destitute families keep on expanding. Kids begin to show sicken in the circumstance driving them to wander in the boulevards. Beside that, numerous families remain in the lanes to procure a living by offering whatever materials to bystanders and get things done to others. In addition, those individuals in the wide open attempt to move into downtowns so as to look for financial chances. This circumstance adds to the weight of having a blocked spot in the urban and rural networks. Sicknesses that influence the individuals living in the urban communities keep on being an issue since clean water gracefully is constrained. At the end of the day, overpopulation significantly influences those families who live in the downtowns since all other immense issues identified with destitution exist there. For a point by point examination on the impacts of neediness on the genuine downtown family esteems, we have to consider the issues talked about before. The primary concentration in this segment is the impacts of destitution on the real families in downtowns and their qualities. Thinking about overpopulation, there are family esteems that are used by genuine families. These qualities incorporate industry, sympathy, and hopefulness. Real downtown poor families know about the estimation of industry, sympathy and good faith. Above all else, the hardships that these families need to hold up under require an idealistic heart so life can be completely delighted in. Modest quantity of food can be shared by relatives and a couple of apparel flexibly can be utilized by them. Be that as it may, genuine families are powerless as far as empathy since they would not like different people’s government assistance as long as their own families can endure. What's to come is that a group of three individuals who are winning the lowest pay permitted by law in the year 2009 can at present considered as living underneath the government neediness line. The main family esteems that can forestall this circumstance are industry since there is no other way. However, in light of poor instructive foundation prompting poor capability in work with better compensation make the relatives lethargic. The impact of destitution on the estimation of industry is extreme as long money related emergency may result to insufficiency of work capabilities. Genuine families and its individuals generally accuse each other in their poor instructive foundation because of the happening to all the more relatives prompting more mouths to take care of. Guardians are constantly accused by their offspring of their failure to manage the cost of for the instructive needs of their youngsters. Thus, the estimation of industry never turned out to be because of absence of work capability. Also, poor genuine families see destitution as something that they don't merit as they suspected they endeavored to win a living. Whatever it might be, the genuine families despite everything accepts that regardless of how hard life is, positive thinking is a worth that ought not be disposed of. Then again, the perspectives on saw families on downtown qualities are considerably more not quite the same as perspectives on real family. The apparent family in the downtown seen overpopulation as the disappointment of the administration to address the issue. Seen families no doubt censured the legislature for not giving then adequate work openings that came about to their monetary troubles. Beside that, apparent families living in urban and rural networks couldn't care less about the estimation of empathy. Most as often as possible, individuals in downtowns who are poor battle against one another over little assets. Their desperate needs of living stipend made them inert to the government assistance of others yet for themselves. Likewise, saw families in downtowns are not idealistic in nature. They will in general submit to negative activities just to get away from neediness. There are such a large number of instances of burglary, theft and even assault that exist in apparent families because of the powerlessness of relatives and even neighbors to help one another. The rare assets in the downtown because of overpopulation pushed little youngsters to meander in the roads for conceivable contributions and gifts. Simply think about the current individuals in the boulevards asking for food and essential necessities, saw families in the downtowns encountered these things. In any case, the estimation of industry is something that is cherished by apparent families on downtowns. This is because of the way that in the event that they won't work to win a living, they don't have anything to eat. Their kids will endure increasingly because of absence of food. Poor saw families on downtowns could know about the way that solitary a true industry could allow them to win a living.

Course Work on Analysis of Movie Review

The author of the review has used adverbs to indicate manner, this can be shown by, for example, the use of ‘weirdly’ (5, 5). This adverb qualifies the verb ‘entertaining’ and is hence used to show how entertaining the two actors are. Adverbs of time have also been used and one example is the word ‘medieval’ (1, 3). This adverb is used to show when the tale was given. Adverbs have also been used in the review to show degree. An example of this can be shown by the author’s use of the adverb ‘almost’ to qualify the verb production. This shows to what extent the production has helped in making the movie a success. Adverbs have been used to show frequency: for example, ‘shot largely’ (5, 1), shows the number of times the movies has been shot in Croatia. Words such as ‘fortified town’ (2, 9), have been used to show where the action for the verb would occur. In this particular case the words are used to show where the two knights are led to. The author has used adjectives to describe nouns: for example the use of the adjective ‘aging’ (2, 1) to describe how the two knights look. Adjectives have also been used to indicate personal titles for example ‘Father Debelzaq’ (2, 2). The title ‘Father’ is used to qualify the noun Debelzaq in this case. The author has used adjectives to show possession; for example, ‘its cardinal’ (2, 10), is used to show the town’s cardinal. Demonstrative adjectives have been used to show particular information. For example, ‘this wrought medieval tale’ (1, 3), ‘this’ is used to show which particular tale the author is referring to. Predicative adjectives have also been used for example, ‘palpable’ (5, 8) which is a function of ‘stinking’ that links it to the noun aura. The author has not effectively used adverbs and adjectives in the review as they are few in number in the text. Also, since this is a movie review I believe that more adjectives would have been incorporated to enhance the description of the movie. Works Cited McDonagh, Maitland. Freud’s most credible work is that of the unconscious mind. He proposed that there are three levels of the mind’s consciousness: the Conscious, Preconscious/Subconscious, and the Unconscious (McLeod, Saul, Sigmund Freud s Theories†). The Conscious is the waking mind in which real-time thought processes that one is aware of are occurring (McLeod, Saul, Sigmund Freud s Theories†). The Preconscious or Subconscious is the waking mind from which memories can be called; it functions as storage and one is not necessarily aware of its processes (McLeod, Saul, Sigmund Freud s Theories†). The Unconscious is the deepest level of the mind that one is unaware of; it supposedly harbors strong desires and suppressed experiences that unknowingly influence the waking mind (McLeod, Saul, Sigmund Freud s Theories†). All three of these come together to form the person to which they belong, and both influence and are influenced by the Ego, Superego, and ID (McLeod, Saul, Sigmund Freud s Theories†). Sof Systems Methodology Of Home Centre At Kuwait †Free Samples

Question: Discuss about the Systems Methodology Of Home Centre At Kuwait. Answer: Introduction Home Centre at Kuwait is a successful business that has been established across various other countries. The business remains extremely profitable and has been able to gain customer confidence. It is considered one of the most liked brands across the country offering home dcor and home related products. However, there are certain challenges faced by the Company in terms of its data entry methodology in its Sales department. This challenge is analysed using soft systems methodology (SSM) approach, whereby organization process modeling is used for solving the problem(Mehregan 2012). The Company has to accommodate management of change in order to overcome this problem by incorporating systems as software methods or data entry tools for entering data into systems. SSM Analysis The soft systems methodology is generally used to analyse complex situations and was developed by systems engineering approaches. It best helps resolve complex situations by analysing the situation and moving from one step to another in a step by step manner(Baskerville 2009). It allows critical thinking approach and it includes 7 stages of representations as following; Analysis of problematical situation: In this situation, Home Centre Kuwait is facing challenges in its Sales and Marketing department. It has affected the brand name and customer feedback in a negative manner. Only a root analysis of the problem can help arrive at suitable solution. The core problem here lies that its financial department due to Sales and Marketing departments challenges is unable to tally and furnish adequate data to its stakeholders. The stock record with that of finances is not tallying, which is leading to immense troubles in developing proper records of financial transactions and accounting statements. Expression of the problem situation: The problem situation arises as some transactions data is not entered in the books of accounts(Flood 2010). Although sales of requisite products have taken place but records have been handwritten. There are no other proofs to depict that the transaction actually has taken place. Formulation of root definitions of relevant systems for purposeful activity: Root definition of problems as these is important as they help in solving them rapidly(Srensen 2010). Home Centre is a reputable brand across Kuwait and is regarded as one of the best retailers. However, this lack of record keeping is not only harming the Company but also its customers, as they are not easily able to exchange goods purchased or adopt maintenance on them suitably. Root definition of the challenge lies in its stakeholders inability to identify a suitable system to record transactions for each and every sale made. Building of conceptual models of the systems named in the root definitions: In order to arrive at the solution to the given problem a software system that can ideally record transaction for the Company can be integrated. This software technology can be a model that input sales data and gives related output as reports when demanded. Compare models with real world situations: In real world situations there are several models or software present that offers variety of solutions. These software models are designed to meet data entry requirements for client companies and then make financial or accounting systems accordingly. Define possible changes which are both possible and feasible: A possible change is to design a software technology that helps to input data and produce reports for the Company(Hanafizadeh 2011). This change is highly feasible and possible in nature as Home Centre can easily afford it. Taking action to improve the problem situation: In order to improve and tackle the present situation such software technology has to be adopted. The software system has to be tested for appropriate fit prior to incorporating it fully. SSM analysis was successful when it had incorporated certain elements of CATWOE model that was developed by David Smyth(Shankar 2009). The process identified processes, people, environment that leads to the situation being analysed in the scope of the study. Business Analysts evaluates possible impacts on six elements of CATWOE as given below; Customers: Here the highest beneficiaries of the business process are evaluated along with issue that affects them. Customers here constitute business stakeholders and also external customers or purchasers of the business products. Both business owners will be affected in presence of an inappropriate accounting or transaction processing system. Customers in absence of proper accounting receipts or systems will not easily be able to tally their transactions or return any goods sold back. Actors: People involved in the situation comprises of stakeholders, senior people of the management, people that are in Sales and Marketing department and so on. All staffs and employees of the department are involved in the situation along with finance and accounts department participants. People in the Sales and Marketing department will be implementing solution. Appropriate data entry methodology will lead to success of the business systems. Transformation Process: Transformation of the system lies at the heart of the software system, that will be transforming accounting and financing needs of the company into real. Appropriate data entry technology will help input correct data and yield output for the system. Weltanschauung (or Worldview): Wider impacts of the issue will be benefiting finance statements that will be produced by the firm. Owner: The processes or situation being investigated is the responsibility of the Sales and Marketing department. Role played in the solution by the department will be the entire motivator for the change to take place. Environmental Constraints: There are constraints as learning relative to the software that is implemented. Limitations that will impact the solution and its success is the capability of the Sales and Marketing department to implement software and conduct transactions successfully. BECM Model A BECM model is an abbreviated form for Being, Engaging, Contextualizing and Managing. This model is applied on basis for understanding a complex situation and problem. At the first step of the model is Being, where the current system of Home Centre Kuwait is evaluated. Background of the problem lies in Sales and Marketing department data entry troubles. There are several ethical considerations that the Company and its employees have not been able to attend to. They are however aware of the complex challenges arising or ways that the problem needs to be resolved. The senior and upper level management is not aware regarding the complex situation facing the company. Customer satisfaction is deteriorating as some of them are not getting printed bills or any records of their transactions maintained when they come to view the same. In the next step towards problem resolution Engaging has to be undertaken to arrive at the root cause of the problem and design appropriate solution. This step deals with analysis of the complex challenges related to the situation. In this case the challenge lies in absence of a system that could possibly integrate an information system for processing of transactions. Absence of a transaction processing system has rendered the entire system ineffective. In the next step of Contextualizing methods of analysis is arrived at such as to understand the position of the Company. Home Centre Kuwait is facing a complex situation related to transaction processing system. The Sales and Marketing does not have any details pertaining various transactions, which has led to challenges in keeping records. Other companies that are operating in the market have an appropriate transaction processing system, which allows their employees to maintain records of every transaction. Moreover customer satisfaction rates in these companies are high as they get well generated printed bills for the same. In the last step of the process is Managing, appreciation of managing the problem to arrive at solution is taken into consideration. This challenge is dealt with by appreciating the problem then adopting a suitable solution as transaction processing system for the same. The suitable solution is arrived at by evaluation of rich picture diagram, multiple cause diagram, system map diagram and control model diagram. LogFrame Approach A Logframe matrix approach is adopted for the project such that it is able to arrive at its desired solution. The following logframe table clearly indicates requirements of the project subsequently with desired output. In order to understand the internal analysis of the Company a comprehensive SWOT is conducted for the purpose(Amin 2011). A SWOT analysis is an abbreviated form for strength, weakness, opportunity and threats as given below; Strength Wide range of collection offered to customers to select from Financial stability of the Company making it easier to expand new business Customer brand perception is high Weakness Lack of internal software methodologies and systems leading to challenges in data entry Current data entry problems have led to several internal challenges in other departments as well Opportunities Expanding branches across various corners of the country Capability to re-engineer entire business processes Highly talented human resource that can help expand business further Threats International brands as Ikea is visualizing market potential in Kuwait and planning to enter the country(Helms 2010). Lack of appropriate financial transaction systems and accounting records might raise corporate governance issue in the country, creating lack of trust amongst stakeholders and customers. Conclusion Analysis of the problem according to Soft System Methodology helps understand that the root problem of the current situation is absence of a software system. In presence of a software system matched to the organizations need, there would be no lags in data entering or its interpretation. It would lead to development of adequate data in financial and accounting forms. Application of SSM analysis helps to arriving at solutions of complex problems. Moreover, a comprehensive SWOT analysis will help analyse strengths, weakness, opportunity and threats related to particular situation. Overall it helps to reflect upon the situation that is experienced by the firm in totality. Both internal and external stakeholders forms an integral part of the system. Project Summary The project here concerns Home Centre in Kuwait and the critical challenge they are facing. The Company has already established its brand name around the Middle East, especially in Kuwait it is the favorite brand for customers. Recent problems faced in recording transactions in Sales department has deteriorated overall service delivery for the Company. Moreover ground level staffs are unable to figure a suitable solution for the problem whereas upper level management are unaware regarding the challenge. The project details itself to analyse the challenge in various manner such as to overcome it. Analysis from every possible angle as ground level, stakeholder levels and project analysis tools has been adopted to understand the problem in a detailed manner. Finally the solution arrived at suggested at adaption of a transaction processing system that will help overcome the situation. A suitable transaction processing system (TPS) will not only allow recording of transactions rather a mo re professional approach to recording data. Problem Statement I have identified a problem of analysing transaction entry systems at Home Centre Kuwait. Interiors market in Kuwait region is flourishing with Home Centre being one of the most reputable brands in the region. The challenge experienced related to adoption of transaction processing systems is a ground level problem not easily understood by top level management. In order to conduct the study and collect data from departments of Sales and Marketing, or Finance or any other administrative departments it was not easy. I could not get permission related to this study easily as top level management was not convinced of the idea. They felt that internal data and critical information pertaining to the Company would be lost in case they allowed such a type of study to take place. I had to convince managers at each and every level and highlight the problem to them to ensure that data collection can take place. Moreover, each department wanted to verify with Sales and Marketing department whethe r they were actually experiencing the trouble of maintain transaction related data and information. Sales and Marketing department were not ready and eager to accept that they were actually facing the trouble. Their non-acceptance made it difficult for me to gather data related to procedure for the study. Methods of Solution The challenge analysed was extremely complicated as it involved dealing with higher authority. The higher authority and management was not convinced regarding the reason of the study. In order to resolve the challenge I decided to draw up a proposal plan for the study and then submit the same to the higher management and authorities for their perusal. I fixed an appointment with all necessary authorities from whom I had to obtain permission for conducting the study. While asking for an appointment, I submitted a letter that could to be reviewed for understanding the purpose of my visit. The proposal clearly indicated the various reasons for conducting the study with its goals and recommendations for overcoming the challenges. Higher level management had viewed my proposal letter prior to providing me an appointment for the same, which made my task easier to achieve. This method for solution made it easier to arrive at the data collection procedure for the study. Storage of Solutions Holder I had set up meeting with each and every manager at higher authorities, whose permission was critical for data collection procedure. The Proposal Plan letter that I had sent to every manager was maintained in my storage solution holder. Secondly and most importantly all letters asking permission for appointment was also placed in the holder. Minutes of meetings recorded were placed in the folders to ensure that none of the points of the meetings go unnoticed. Before arriving at the data collection stage I made sure that I obtained all possible written permission and documentation for the same. This was done so that I do not face any challenge related to data collection in the future. The best solution The best solution to all the challenges that I faced was to obtain prior permission before conducting the study. I deemed obtaining of prior permission as an essential documentation procedure. It was an essential element for the study to ensure that I do not encounter any challenge in the future. I visualized that only way to undertake the study and overcome possible challenges was related to my major weakness. I am employed at a junior level and position in the Company, hence none of the authorities would review my recommendations easily. I had to utilize key strength of mine, which was to adopt a formal mechanism of writing a well drafted proposal plan or letter for obtaining prior permission. I realized that I could face negative impacts from my immediate senior who could easily raise questions on me. Realising this potential threat facing me, I turned it into a meaningful activity by highlighting the various positive impact that completion of my project could generate on the comp any. I told them regarding the positive impact of accommodating an information system and the betterment to the company and its processes could be achieved. My senior colleagues and managers were thoroughly impressed with the idea of analysing problems with varied tools by looking at the diagrams. They were also delighted on realising the potential benefits that accommodation of information systems, which could ease their work and reduce their liability. It would increase ethical responsibility of the company y and lead to greater transparency, which would further enhance the brand name for the Company. Tip or suggestions Data collection and its analysis was the most crucial aspect of the study. Though it was difficult to collect information related to the study yet it was difficult to portray the same effectively. In order to understand the problem that is faced by Home Centre thorough analysis of its transaction processing system has to be entailed. It would help arrive at possible root cause definition to the problem identified and then form appropriate recommendations. References Amin, S.H., Razmi, J. and Zhang, G., 2011.
